One more first round day and a few more participants have lost Final Four teams.
Nienchtze is leading the group after the first round, thanks to picking Northwestern St. to upset #3 seeded Iowa. But not so fast my friends, she's also lost a Final Four team when the Michigan State Spartans were taken out at the hands of #11 seeded George Mason.

But even tougher Laura and Russ have lost their 2006 champ in Kansas. Kansas' lost also hurt Daryle and Yang, as both had them losing in the final game. Which leads me to a digression. If you followed college football this year, you know that one of the best defensive players in the country was Ohio State linebacker A.J. Hawk, you remembers, the guy who was Brady Quinn's sister's boyfriend. Now imagine if instead of signing with football powerhouse the Buckeyes, he signed with the less than distinguished Kansas, he would be "A.J. Hawk, a Jayhawk" Okay... back to the tournament...

Aimee also lost out when the Jayhawks lost, and she now has two Final Four picks out before the second round. But don't worry about her basketball-wise... right Aimee?
